Sedona

I just got back from my Sedona trip with Mr. Tbear and all I can say is Wow! What an awesome place! We went to Slide Rock Park, which can be described as a natural waterpark. The town itself is very artsy and touristy. I couldn't resist the beautiful turquoise indian jewelry and bought two pendants while I was there. I also discovered an interesting rock in the distance I like to call fertile mountain. Can you guess which one? Mr. Tbear's parents live near Sedona and I got the chance to meet them and spend some time with them. They are very sweet and down to earth. I can't wait to go back.

The 11th hour

Hey, I finally decided to post again. Part of what's been going on is work related, specifically my quest to move into something new. It's nothing I can talk too much about right now, but hopefully a change will happen soon.

This labor day weekend was relaxing, despite the miserable heat. I'm melting as I type this. It was great to see some old friends from the evil empire. It had been way too long. Mama, I will enjoy your second chinese brush painting as much as the first! I wish I had some artistic talent but i will live vicariously through you.

Oh yea, I went to see the 11th hour last night. It's only playing at a couple places in SD county, since it's an independent film. If your not familiar with it, the movie continues where Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" left off. As disturbing as the reality of global warming is, the movie did present some good options for a more environmentally friendly future. Whether we implement them in time is really the question. This movie is a must see so please find the time to watch it!
